Khadi Gramodyog gets ISI mark for national flags

Hubli, June 17 (UNI) Federation of Khadi Gramodyog Smyuktha Sangh here has got the approval of Indian Standard Institute (ISI) for the national flags produced by it.

Addressing a press conference here, Federation Chairman B B Patil, said the ISI mark would help the Federation export the national flags to other countries. ''We produce nine varieties of national flags here and eight of them have got the ISI mark. Ours is the only unit in the country to get the status,'' he added.

He said the Federation proposed to produce 15,000 to 20,000 national flags by August 15 to achieve business of Rs 25 lakh.
