Girls bag more ranks in BA exams

Kottayam, Jun 17 (UNI) Girls bagged 35 of the 45 ranks in the B A Degree examinations of the M G University held in March last, the results of which were announced today.

Of the 7,433 candidates appeared for the examinations, 5,609 passed with 1,509 obtaining first class, 1,828 second class and 2,202 third class. The pass percentage was 75.46.

Maharaja's College, Ernakulam, bagged ten ranks and St Teresa's College six.

Of the 5,839 regular candidates who appeared for the examinations, 1,433 bagged first class, 1,634 second class and 1,633 third class.

The pass percentage was 80.
