Flood control room opened in SMC

Surat, Jun 17 (UNI) A special control room was opened to handle the flood related issues in Surat Municipal Corporation (SMC), in its central office in the city.

The telephone numbers of the central control room are 3041318 and 3297800.

Different control rooms are opened in other areas of the city too.

Their contact numbers are Central zone(2420547), Athwa zone (2663049), Udhna (2278429), Varachcha (2551363), Limbayat (3297822), Katargam(2535100) and Rander(2786181).

Deputy Commissioner of SMC, Pradipsinh Jhala said that the Corporation is all set to meet any civic needs in the monsoon season. ''Maintainance work of drainages and roads are almost complete and Corporation is also all set to meet any epidemic related issues'', informed Mr Jhala UNI MS PM SKB1535
