Fed Cup Kabaddi: Railway teams storm into semis

Bangalore, June 16 (UNI) Defending Champions Indian Railways men and women stormed into the semifinals without much ado in the 26th Federation Cup Kabaddi Championship here today.

The results went by the form book as runners-up Punjab, Services and Tamil Nadu completed the semi-final line up in the men's section.

Among Women's runners-up Maharashtra, Punjab and Karnataka were the other teams that made it to the last four stage.

Following are the results (group league): Men: Railways bt Haryana 20-16; Services bt Rajasthan 37-28; Punjab bt Hyderabad 30-18, Tamil Nadu bt Karnataka 18-07; Haryana bt BSNL 61-31; Punjab bt Rajasthan 30-28.

Women: Railways bt Haryana 36-25, Karnataka bt Himachal Pradesh 37-32; Maharashtra bt Hyderabad 22-13, Punjab bt Tamil Nadu 30-28.
