Bihar: Cong to launch agitation against NDA failures

Patna, Jun 17: Bihar Pradesh Congress Committee (BPCC)today announced to launch statewide massive agitation against the failures of NDA government which according to the party had miserably failed in executing the centrally sponsored developmental schemes and improve the law and order situation of the state.

BPCC held a meeting in the party state headquarters here and chalked out an agitational programme to expose the failures of the state government. Addressing the meeting attended by the senior leaders of the party, BPCC President Sadanand Singh said the state government led by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar failed to implement the developmental schemes of the union government.

Of the 23 districts which were selected under Employment Gurantee Scheme, the programme was yet to be implemented in 11 districts of the list. He said the state government was apathetic towards other centrally sponsored schemes. It has also failed to improve the law and order situation of the state.

Outlining the agitational programme, Mr Singh said the party would demonstrate at the block headquarters on July 3 and on July 10 it would stage dharna at all district headquarters.
