BoB unveils Urban Retail Loan Factory
Bangalore, June 17 (UNI) The Bank of Baroda (BoB) today unveiled 'Urban Retail Loan Factory' to reach out to its customers and provide service at their door-step and reposition itself as sales and service organisation by offering world-class banking experience.
Speaking after the launch, BoB Advisor V G Subramanian said the new service provided customers a hassle-free experience of getting their loans sanctioned within the set time-lines. In addition, the bank would also reachout to its customers through SMS and internet, builders' tie ups, campaigns and through employee referral scheme, which had 'customer convenience and satisfaction' at the core of this intiative.
He said the global footprint of BoB had spread to 21 countries and it was firming up plans to expand further to newer planes like Singapore, Trinidad and Tobago, Canada and New Zealand.
Besides adorning a new logo and enlisting Rahul Dravid as its brand ambassador, the bank had taken many customer-centric and technology initiatives. It had more than 500 branches in the country working from 0800 hrs to 2000 hrs with many of them providing 24x7 human banking service, he added.
Director of Agricultural Marketing, Government of Karnataka, G S Narayana Swamy, launched the service.
