Bhas to open more offices

Kozhikode, Jun 17 (UNI) Leading futures and share trader Bhas Commidities Private Limited today announced plans to open offices in all district headquarters, including Thiruvananthapuram and Kochi as part of its expansion plans.

Talking to newsmen here, Bhas Managing Director P I Varuthunny said the company, which had been operating from Kalpetta and Sulthan Bathery in Wayanad District for the last three years, would open a regional office here on June 19.

He said Bhas, a member of NCDEX, MCX and IPSTA, offered facility for futures trading in more than 50 commodities including, pepper, rubber, cardamom, coffee, acrecanut, urad, wheat, sugar, red chillies, cast seed, jeera, chana, potato, steel, crude oil, gold and silver.

Trading facility was available from 1000 hrs to 1130 hrs at Kozhikode, Kalpetta and Bathery offices for bullion, metal and crude oil.

Mr Varuthunny said the company provided internet facilities to its clients to trade from the convenience of their house or office.

It also undertook trading through Cochin Stock Brokers Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Cochin Stock Exchange Ltd, NSE and BSE.
