3 people killed, 2 injured in road mishap

Bangalore, June 17 (UNI) Three people, including two women, were killed and two others injured when the autorickshaw in which they were travelling was hit by a state-owned KSRTC bus near Hireroogi village in Bijapur district of Karnataka today.

Police said the mishap occurred when the ill-fated auto, proceeding from the village to Indi town in Bijapur district, tried to overtake the bus.

The injured were admitted to the General Hospital at Indi.
