Wild tusker falls into ravine, dies
Mysore, June 16 (UNI) A 25-year-old wild tusker, which was seriously injured after it fell into a ravine near Kuntikalbetta in Kollegal Forest Range of Chamarajanagar district about 80 km from here a few days ago, died today.
Yelandur Forest Range officials said the tusker injured itself when it was heading for a pond to quench its thrist. The forest department personnel buried the animal in the forest, officials added.
