Two cases of malnourishment in Mumbai: Patil
Mumbai, June 16 (UNI) Maharashtra women and children welfare minister Harshwardhan Patil today said two malnourished children below six years were found in four anganwadis in Bhandup and adjoining areas of the city.
In a release issued here today, Mr Patil said after the survey of 114 children, two cases of malnourishment were found, while the other children were suffering from diseases generated due to debris and dirt.
He further said the state government is working hard to remove the malnourishment in the state and this year 12,864 anganwadis would start in the State out of which 3,500 will be in tribal areas .
