Three people killed in road accident

Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh, Jun 16 (UNI) Three people including a Congress leader were killed and one person was injured when a car in which they were travelling hit a tree near Gubagunta village of Allagadda mandal in Kurnool district today.

Police said, the victims included Allagadda mandal Congress leader S Venkatrami Reddy. Two persons died on the spot while Mr Reddy succmbed to injuries in the local hospital.

Mr Reddy's son Sharat Reddy who was injured in the accident, was admitted to a private hospital, police added.
