Rupee stronger by 14 paise closes at Rs 45.84/85/USD

Mumbai June 16: Indian currency today closed strong by 14 paise at Rs 45.84/85/US Dollar as compared to the previous close of 45.98/US Dollar.

Rupee today opened at Rs 45.92/94/US Dollar and in the mid morning session traded at Rs 45.92/93/US Dollar.

The six month forward Premia was 0.96 per cent and the one year premia was at 1.11 per cent.

RBI fixed the Reference Rate at Rs 45.92/US Dollar today.

Rupee also fared well against other currencies: Rupee vs Euro was up at Rs 57.93, Rupee vs Pound Sterling was at Rs 84.80 and against yen was at Rs 39.82.
