Rupee opens strong at 45.92/94 per USD

Mumbai, Jun 16: The Indian currency today opened strong by six paise at Rs 45.92/94 per US dollar as compared to the previous close of Rs 45.98 per USD.

In the mid-morning trade, the rupee was trading at Rs 45.92/93 per USD.

Earlier, the Sensex also opened in the green and continued to rally on the strong performance by metal stocks.
