Bhopal, June 16(UNI) Expelled BJP leader Uma Bharti has alleged that inquiry into the Madhya Pradesh State Industries Development Corporation's Rs 700 crore loan scandal has been scuttled at the instance of both Congress and BJP leaders.

Without naming any leader, she claimed a prominent leader from Delhi had played a key role in stopping the inquiry.

Addressing a public meeting here last night as her 'Bharat Bachao Yatra' entered the state capital, Ms Bharti said she would soon expose with proof the leaders involved in stopping the inquiry.

''Many leaders in Delhi and Bhopal may resort to suicide when the details of the scandal will be exposed'', she added.

The Bharatiya Janshakti President also alleged that Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and former Chief Minister Babulal Gaur were in collusion with Congress leader Digvijay Singh and this was also a reason for stopping the probe into the loan scandal.

During the previous Congress rule, MPSIDC provided loans to the tune of several crores of rupees to many industrial units from financial institutions through inter-corporate deposit scheme.
