Ocimum Biosolutions sets up German subsidiary

Hyderabad, Jun 16 (UNI) The Hyderabad based Ocimum Biosolution today announced it had set up its German Subsidiary in Ebersberg to expand its presence in the European market.

OCIMUM Chief Executive Officer said in a statement today, ''Europe is a big market for us. We chose to base our European operations in Germany as it is centrally located in Europe''.

This was a key milestone for Ocimum after its successful acquisition of the Microarrays divisioin of MWG Biotech AG. The German Subsidiary, Ocimum Germany GmbH, aims to tap the huge genomics market in Europe and provide quality Researtch and Development enabling solutions to Universities, Research Institutes, Biotech and Pharma companies in Europe.
