Northgate Technologies posted net profit

Hyderabad, Jun 16 (UNI) Northgage Technologies Limited posted a net profit growth of 235 per cent on its strength of online advertisement and Telecom business.

Northgate earned net profit of Rs.241 millions or Rs.18.61 a share, up from Rs.72 million or Rs.6.79 a share in the previous year. The Board has proposed 20 percent final equity dividend for the financial year ended March 2006, according to a press release.

For the year ended March 2006, Northgate generated revenue of Rs.819 millions, up from Rs.518 millions in the previous year.

Northgate commercially launched its Globe7 product, worldwide, through Axil Europe Limited, UK based WOS.

Globe7 has achieved more than 9.5 million downloads with four months from 187 countries, across the globe.

Globe7 Inc. a WOS of Northgate signed three years agreement with Lycos Inc. USA, for providing Globe7 services to Lycos communities.
