Naxalites slay suspected police informer

Nagpur, June 16 (UNI) Naxalites have killed the owner of a roadside hotel, at Murumgaon in Dhanora police station area in Gadchiroli district, police said.

The police today said about 10 to 15 naxals including women, yesterday entered the house of Alal Lagatu Kantigal, dragged him out of his house and tied him to a tree. Later, they slit his throat, killing him instantly.

The naxalities, suspected the deceased to be a police informer.

However, the police said that Alal was not an informer.
