Mukherjee sub-committee on Telangana has done nothing: BJP

Hyderabad, June 16 (UNI) Former BJP president M Venkaiah Naidu today alleged that the Pranab Mukherjee Committee on Telangana was not taking any steps for the realisation of a separate Telangana state.

Talking to newspersns here, Mr Naidu said the committee had so far not received the opinion of the Congress on the issue.

The committee has not consulted any political party on Telangana and its activities in New Delhi were 'stagnant', he charged.

Mr Naidu said the BJP would support the bill on Telangana if the Congress-led UPA government introduced it in Parliament.
