MRPL to supply 1.03 mmt petro products to STC

New Delhi, June 16 (UNI) Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Ltd (MRPL), a subsidiary of Oil and Natural Gas Corporation, signed an agreement for the supply of 1.03 million metric tonnes of petroleum products to State Trading Corporation (STC), Mauritius for the year 2006-07 commencing August 2006.

The products to be supplied are Gas Oil (350,000 mt), Jet Al (260,000 mts), Mogas (90,000 mts) and Fuel Oil (330,000 mts).

The agreement was signed by MRPL, Director Finance Lalit Kumar Gupta and STC General Manager Ranjit Singh Soomarooah on June 14 at Port Louis, Mauritius.

A statement issued here stated that the conditions of the agreement will also allow savings for the country, to the tune of Rs 350 million on the purchase of petroleum products for the year 2006-07.
