'MATRA', other security systems to be studied by CISF at Mancheste
New Delhi, June 16 (UNI) As part of its regular upgrading of the security apparatus at airports, a six-member team of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) is participating in a joint seminar in Manchester (UK) to apprise itself with the state-of-the-art systems adopted around the world.
The seminar, to be held between June 20-29, would focus on Multi Agency Threat and Risk Management (MATRA), Biometric Access Control System, contingency plans for emergency procedures, latest electronic gadgets and standardised systems used in aviation security.
The team, led by CISF Director General SIS Ahmed, would also study security measures adopted at Heathrow Airport, considered to be one of the most busiest airports in the world.
