Jyotiraditya Scindia wants to emulate father's sportsmanship
New Delhi, Jun 16 (UNI) Member of Parliament Jyotiraditya Scindia said he would like to follow in his father's footsteps and infuse sportsmanship into politics.
Distributing prizes for a cricket tournament named after his father Madhavrao Scindia, Mr Scindia said, ''I would like to emulate my father who borrowed the idea of fairplay and sportsman spirit and introduced them in politics. He has a tremendous ability for that and that's something I would be happy to achieve.'' Mr Scindia handed over the winner's trophy to ITC which had beaten HDFC in the final in February.
Former off-spinner Nikhil Chopra, Director General of TERI Dr RK Pachouri and others were present on the occasion.
