IAN Chappell is biggest influence on my career: Warne
London, June 16 (UNI) Describing Ian Chappell as the biggest influence on his career, Aussie leg spinner Shane Warne said he learnt to be attacking from the former captain, with whom he can talk for hours.
''Probably the biggest influence on my career was Ian Chappell,'' Warne told the 'BBC TV'.
''It was him who taught me the way the game should be played, captaincy, leadership, how to attack and so on,'' he added.
Warne said he loved taking Chappell's advice in times of need.
''I could talk to him all night - I love listening to him,'' he said.
Analysing England's chances in the Ashes later this year, Warne said he was hopinmg to see Pakistan defeat Andrew Flintoff's side ahead of the November series.
''I think they all need to find some form, but hopefully Pakistan can do us a favour and beat up the Poms,'' Warne said.
