Four killed in blast in Haryana

Jhajjar, June 16 (UNI) Three members of a family were among four people killed in a blast in a traditional 'Atta Chakki' (flour mill) in Khaddan village in the district today.

The victims--Kuldeep, his nephew Anoop, sister-in-law Jaswanti and a village maid Shanti--died on the spot when the blast took place in the Chakki being powered by a tractor, police sources here said.

Kuldeep's daughter was scheduled to be married on June 19 and the family members were getting the foodgrains grinded for the occasion at the Chakki.

The four victims were hit by a rain of stones that came off from the Chakki when the blast took place out of a sudden. The cause of the blast was yet to be ascertained, the sources said.
