BJP, RSS workers interfere in govt dept's work: Digvijay
Indore, June 16 (UNI) Congress general secretary Digvijay Singh today alleged that the BJP and the RSS workers were interefering in the work of government departments.
Mr Singh told reporters here that the BJP and the RSS workers intended to get nominated into government organisations because they did not want to face election.
Alleging that law and order situation in the state was deteriorating, he said crime graph had gone up.
He said large-scale irregularities were taking place in public distribution system, besides, misappropriation of money released from the Chief Minister's relief fund.
Mr Singh said the BJP Government's decision to stop appointment on sympathetic grounds was against working class, which had brought the BJP on power.
The Congress leader said the price of petroleum products was increased as the prices in international market had gone up.
Congress-ruled state governments reduced taxes in a bid to reduce burden on public but BJP-ruled state government lacked courage to do so.
Mr Singh reminded the BJP that it had protested several times demanding reduction in taxes while it was in opposition.
He said Bharatiya Janashakti President Uma Bharti's claim to dislodge the government was misleading. The sadhvi does not have even have two legislators with her.
