Ranchi, June 16: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) today alleged that there was a 'Naxus' between Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Gulam Nabi Azad and the terrorists in the state.

BJP state president Yadavnath Pandey, addressing a press conference here after his return from Jammu, where on June 11, he courted arrest with around 500 party activists from the state and also participated in a sit in protest against the terrorist attacks on Hindus, claimed that Mr Azad was not allowing the army to conduct search operations in the districts like Doda and Udhampur, where large number of militants are hiding and targetting the innocent Hindus.''

Since the UPA government has come to power at the centre the situation in the state has worsened. Despite continuing attacks on Hinuds and even on party rallies and peaceful political demonstrations, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh is only concerned about talking with the separatist leader, he said.

''The Hindus of the state know that BJP is the only party which was concerned about their plight,'' Mr Pandey said.
