Airtel mobile services to be delayed in Mizoram

Aizawl, June 16 : The launch of Airtel mobile service here would be delayed here due to bad weather conditions in Mizoram, official sources said today.

Talking to UNI bharti airtel here today Manager Corporate communiation for NE region Anjuli Chittaranjan said.

Service engineers could not be able to travel to the capital city with equipment for installation, resulting into a delay in the launch.

Rains for the past few days had cut off traffic on Shillong-Silchar-Aizawl highway.

''We will be announcing a fresh date of launching of our mobile services in Mizoram'', Earlier, Airtel announced that it would launch service operations tentatively on June 20 both in Mizoram and Tripura.
