Airline makes wingspan the size of Beckham free kick
New Delhi, June 16 (UNI) After making the wingspan of the plane, which flew England players to the World Cup, the same length as David Beckham's late free kick against Greece in 2002, British Airways will be operating 130 flights to and from Germany every day to cash in on the soccer fever.
The airline plans to fly at least 500,000 people during the tournament and will also introduce larger capacity aircrafts on at least 30 flights before and after England's games, a release said here.
In addition to this, Brtish Airways will be flying 25 of the 32 participating countries in the World Cup and its new Terminal here is the size of 50 football pitches.
The airline claims to have 123 Robinson's, 84 Campbell's, 55 Owen's, 53 Cole's, 10 Terry's and one Beckham on its staff.
