60 injured as mini bus overturns

Tiruvallur, Tamil Nadu, Jun 16 (UNI) About 60 people, including 30 school students, were injured when a mini bus in which they were travelling overturned at Thirunilai, near here today.

Police said the bus was proceeding to Janappachathiram from Arni.

The driver was negotiating a curve, when the accident occurred.

All the injured were rushed to Government Hospital at Ponneri.

From there, 33 were referred to Government General Hospital Chennai for further treatment, police said.
