World Cup fever gets dampened due to power cut
Kohima Jun 15 (UNI) Disruption of power in some areas of Dimapur town during the World Cup matches irked the people.
According to official sources here today, two power department employees from Burma Camp area were picked by some unknown gunmen last night and harrassed for their failure to supply power for World Cup viewers.
The Executive Engineer, Dimapur Electrical Division, in a release pointed out "the department has been trying its best, working round the clock, to provide uninterrupted power supply and appealed to all right thinking citizens not to resort to oppressive actions against those who have the best interest of the public mind".
