HAMBURG, June 15 (Reuters) Carlos Tenorio said Ecuador had achieved nothing yet after he scored along with fellow striker Agustin Delgado in a 2-0 win over Costa Rica today that takes the South Americans into the World Cup second round.

''We have not achieved anything yet, we want to go as far as we can,'' said Tenorio, who also scored along with Delgado in the 2-0 win over Poland in their first game. ''I'm so happy, this is a happiness that I cannot contain or even explain.'' Ecuador's victory also takes Germany into the last 16 with both teams on six points after the hosts beat Poland 1-0 in their second Group A match yesterday.

Ecuador face Germany in their final group game in Berlin on Tuesday, with coach Luis Fernando Suarez saying: ''It will be very difficult against Germany because the players are going to be tired. They have played two games.

''They want to play a very good match against Germany. It will be a historic match.'' Disappointed Costa Rica coach Alexandre Guimaraes said: ''The game is like that when you miss chances the other side have no mercy. That is the story for us in these two games.'' Striker Paulo Wanchope, asked if this was their worst showing at a World Cup after their previous appearances in 1990, when they made the second round, and 2002, when they also went out after the first group stage said: ''Of the three, this has been the worst. For the moment, we keep our heads up and keep working. We had to look to score goals but it did not work out.'' Costa Rica meet Poland in Hanover on Tuesday.
