SREI bags road projects worth Rs 3,000 cr
Kolkata, Jun 15 : SREI Infrastructure Finance Ltd, the leading infrastructure finance company, has bagged NHAI/annuity Road Projects on Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) basis worth more than Rs.3000 crore.
"These BOT road construction projects will be completed over the next 18-36 months," Hemant Kanoria, Vice-Chairman and Managing Director, SREI, said.
SREI in partnership with several leading construction companies throughout India will complete the projects, he said.
The projects include the Bharatpur - Mahua Project (Rajasthan), the Nagpur - Kondhali Project (Maharashtra), the Thrissur - Angamali Project (Kerala), the Madurai - Tuticorin Project (Tamil Nadu), the Lakhnadon Project (Madhya Pradesh) and the Karur - Dindigul Project (Tamil Nadu).
SREI intends to utilize its long-standing strategic relationships with the Construction companies on a pan India basis along with its financial resource to emerge as a major force in the infrastructure project finance sector, Kanoria said.
