Special arrangements for World Cup soccer

Kozhikode, Jun 15 (UNI) The administration has made special arrangements for football-frened citizens of Kozhikode to view live the World Cup soccer matches between their favourite teams on large television screens at various places in the district.

Live telecast of the encounters in Germany, arrranged in association with the Sports Council and other organisations, has already begun at the Corporation Stadium here, Collector Rachana Shah said in a release.

The people would be able to view the mega events on large screen from the V K Krishna Menon Indoor Stadium in a few days, she said.

Arrangements were also underway to install a large TV screen at Vatakara and Quilandy in the district, she added.
