Shahabuddin could not attend special court
Siwan, Bihar June 15 (UNI) Controversial RJD MP Mohammed Shahabuddin could not attend the special court created inside the Siwan district jail for hearing cases involving him.
The counsel for Mr Shahabuddin, Abhay Kumar Rajan through an application informed the court of first class judicial magistrate B G Gupta that his client could not attend the special court as he was seriously ill.
Mr Rajan prayed to the court to ensure proper treatment of Mr Shahabuddin and only then the legal proceedings could be initiated in the special court. After submission of the application, the counsels of both the prosecution and the defendant argued over the matter for at least two hours. Later, the special court reserved the judgement.
The special court of the judicial magistrate had been created for hearing Shahabuddin's seven cases.
