Seven Maoists arrested
Vizianagaram, June 15 (UNI) Seven Maoists, including four hard core militants of Kondabaridi Dalam, were arrested by the Andhra Pradesh Special Police Party from Deppiguda village in Neelakanthapuram police station limits here last night.
District Superintendent of Police Vikram Singh Mann told news persons that the maoists were apprehended during a combing operation.
He said many explosives including 50 gelatin sticks were recovered from them.
The arrested Maoists were B Chhinarama of Chaparaiguda village, N Sarita of Boddigadiguda village and B Raju of Deppiguda village.
The other four militants arrested were B Nageswara Rao, M Kanta Rao, B Mallesu and B Darsi all the belong to Saldangiguda.
Mr Mann said Chinaramu was an expert in using grenades and blasting land mines.
Both Chinaramu and Sarita played a lead role in the attack of R Udayagiri police station in Orissa state, he added.
