Rupee opens at Rs 45.96/99/USD

Mumbai, June 15: The Indian currency today opened at Rs 45.96/99 per US dollar as compared to the previous close of Rs 45.98 USD.

In the mid-morning session, the rupee was trading at 45.98 per USD.

The Sensex also opened in the green, with an increase of 203 points, at 9,133.23 points from the previous close of 8,929.44.
