Rajnath Singh meets Deve Gowda

New Delhi, June 15 (UNI) In an interesting development BJP President Rajnath Singh called on his Janata Dal (Secular) counterpart H D Deve Gowda apparently to sort out differences between the two coalition partners over the Karnataka Government bringing out a legislation to take over the Bangalore Mysore Infrastructure Corridor project.

The meeting took place at Mr Gowda's residence late last evening and even most leaders of the two parties were unaware of the event that took place without the media glare. Political observers see this meeting as an effort to sort out the differences that have cropped up publicly between the allies on the issue.

This was the first meeting between Mr Gowda and any top BJP leader after the J D (S)-BJP coalition took over the reigns in February but the two parties remained tight lipped about the meeting.
