MP reels under blistering heat
Bhopal, June 15 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh continued to reel under sultry weather with temperature in various parts of the state rising to over 40 degrees Celsius.
Meteorological department said the weather was dry overnight.
World famous Khajuraho sweltered through extremely hot day which recorded a maximum of 42 degrees C.
The temperature in the capital was recorded at 40.5 degrees C, while it was 38.9 degrees in Indore, 40.9 degrees in Gwalior and 41 degrees C in Jabalpur respectively.
A dry weather was forecasted over the next 24 hours, while the maximum temperature in the state capital could hit 42 degrees C.
