Moldtek sales up 25 pc, profits up five times

Chennai, June 15 (UNI) Moldtek Technologies Limited, leaders in packaging, and emerging player in the Structural Engineering KPO services segment, posted excellent results for the year ending March 31, 2006.

While the sales in the packaging division have gone up from Rs 55.47 crores to Rs 67.12 crores, an increase of 21 per cent, the revenues from the IT division rose from Rs 1.18 crores to Rs 3.75 crores, a whopping 317 per cent growth.

In total, the company achieved a turnover of Rs 70.87 crore as against Rs 56.64 crore achieved during last year, a growth of 25.12 per cent, a company release said today.

The overall Net Profit for the year went up from Rs 71 lakhs the previous year to Rs 354 lakhs in the current year, registering a 500 per cent growth. Profits from IT division have gone up from Rs 25.91 lakhs to Rs 160.27 lakhs, a growth of 600 per cent.

The Board of Directors of the company have recommended a final dividend of 10 per cent, subject to the approval of shareholders in the General Meeting.
