Kolkata sweats while the rains stay away

Kolkata, Jun 15 (UNI) Kolkata continued to be hot and sultry with predictions of partially clouded sky and light rains in the evening.

Met office sources said maximum temperature was recorded at 35.2 degree celsius and minimum temperature was at 25.8 degree celsius.

The maximum relative humidity was around 92 per cent and the minimum humidity recorded at 64 per cent.

The city recorded 1.2 mm rainfall in the last 24 hours.

Met office also predicted that the sky would remain partly clouded in the evening with the possibility of a light rain or thundershower in the evening.
