Kapurthala, Jun 15 (UNI) The next sequel to the Hollywood blockbuster 'Jurassic Park' could well be shot in 'Saada Punjab', our own Punjab.

The erstwhile princely state of Kapurthala will soon be known for continent's biggest dinosaur park which is coming up at Puspa Gujral Science City, Kapurthala (PGSCK). The park which will be completed in eight months, will be divided into two sections--outdoor and indoor-- and built at a cost of Rs four crore.

Director General PGSCK, Dr R S Khandpur, said the environment of that era (in which dinosaurs lived) will be created by growing shrubs of that age. The plants that are not available now will be created artifically.

In the indoor gallery, pre-dinosaur, dinosaur and post-dinosaur eras will depict the evolution process. Dr Khandpur said. Forty lifesize models of dinsaurs will be kept in the park with the help of a team of experts. Of these, the biggest dinosaurs will be 150 feet long.

About the Energy Park, which is being set up with an investment of Rs 1.75 crore at the science city, he said all varieties of trees available in the state will be planted here. Besides, it will have four new galleries--science and sports, ecology and environment, health and biotechnology and emerging technologies-- set up at a cost of Rs 12 crore.
