Kanishk Steel gets ISO 9001:2000

Chennai, Jun 15 : The Chennai-based Kanishk Steel Industries Limited was granted ISO 9001:2000 certification for manufacturing and supply of high quality and cost effective TMT bars and structural steel items.

The Steel items manufactured at its Gummidipoondi facility included joists, channels, angles, flats, squares and rounds.

A company release here today said the certification approves Kanishk Steel's quality management systems for manufacturing and supply of TMT Bars and Structural Steel products, to meet global standards established by the International Organization for Standardization.

"This certification confirms the quality of our services and operations, and underscores the value we create for our clients.

The ISO certification affirms the value of Kanishk's quality philosophy, policy and systems," he added.
