Hidesign plans further expansion

Chennai, Jun 15: Leading leather brand Hidesign is increasing its retail footprint in the Middle East and has signed a Joint Venture (JV) with the Dubai-based retail major Jashanmal National Company for an initial outlay of AED 1 million.

Hidesign would have a 49 per cent stake in the proposed JV and would contribute to the entity in form of its vast range of products and brand name.

Jashanmal on its part would utilize its extensive network and expertise in marketing the Hidesign products in the Middle East, an official release said today.

Hidesign CEO Kunal R Sachdev said apart from its two exclusive stores, Hidesign products would also be retailed through the shops at the Jashanmal stores in UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman and Qatar.
