Gunmen kill four worshippers in Iraqi mosque
TIKRIT, Iraq, June 15 (Reuters) Gunmen opened fire at a mosque near the Iraqi town of Tikrit today, killing four worshippers and wounding 20 others, a police source said.
No other details were immediately available about the attack in the small town of Alam east of Tikrit, 175 km (110 miles) north of Baghdad. Tikrit, in a predominantly Sunni Arab area, is the home town of former Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein.
