Former Congress councillor shot at

Surat, June 15 (UNI) Former municipal councillor and Congress leader Govind Dabhi was shot at by two men at Malik Wadi, near Sangrampura in the city today.

According to Athwa police, Mr Dabhi was sitting with some people in the area when two young men approached him and shot at him this evening.

Mr Dabhi was immediately rushed to the New Civil Hospital and is undergoing treatment there.

Police said investigations are on.
