A late evening smart shower brings respite

Kolkata, Jun 15 (UNI) After sweltering heat and intolerable humidity, Kolkatans heaved a sigh of relief in the evening with a smart shower lashing the city.

The maximum temperature, which was recorded at 35.2 degree celsius, came down markedly giving the much-needed respite to the people, wilting under the hot and sultry weather.

Met office in its report forecast shower in the evening.

Earlier, the maximum relative humidity was around 92 per cent and the minimum humidity recorded at 64 per cent.
