Video recording of counting process

Patna, June 14 (UNI) State Election Commissioner J K Dutta today ordered for video recording of counting of votes cast in the Panchayat election.

Mr Dutta said here that all district magistrates had been asked to maintain a strict vigil on the movement of polling personnel and employees engaged in the counting work.

He said that criminal cases would be filed and other legal action would be taken if anyone is found indulging in any irregularity during the counting.

The employees would be externed from respective districts of their deputation if they were found guilty of similar charges.
