Sub Inspector of UP police arrested for graft

New Delhi, June 14 (UNI) The Anti-corruption branch of the Delhi Government have arrested a sub inspector of the Uttar Pradesh police for demanding a bribe from a complainant.

Dharmapal Singh was caught red handed by officials of the ACB yesterday while demanding a bribe of Rs 5000 from a complainant, to settle a case in his favour, in presence of the panch witness, the horticulture assistant.

An FIR has been registered against Dharampal who has been arrested.
