Ravi Pujari accuses Bhatt of aiding Dawood, says will attack again

New Delhi, June 14 (UNI) Underworld Don Ravi Pujari, who claimed responsibility for the shootout at Mahesh Bhatt's office in Mumbai, today accused the filmmaker of aiding Dawood's and Chota Shakeel's businesses in India and said he would make further attempts to kill Mr Bhatt.

''We have been planning to kill him for the last one month He was lucky today but his days are numbered. Once I decide to kill someone I never let him go (Jab Main Kisi Aadmi Ke Pichey Pud Jata Hoon to Use Chodta Nahin Hoon),''Pujari told a news channel.

Claiming that he was targetting Mahesh Bhatt because the latter was aiding Dawood's and Chota Shakeel's movie business, hawala payments and finances in India, Pujari said,''Mahesh is very close to Dawood and Shakeel and that is why I want to kill him. Whoever is the enemy of my country is my enemy.'' Asked as to what proof did he have to establish Bhatt's involvement with the underworld, Pujari said,''these people (dons and people who operate on their behalf) do not meet in India. The meetings take place in Dubai or America among other places.'' Pujari said when he had attacked Majid Menon, Mr Bhatt was the first to appear on TV to speak on Memon's behalf. He said his point was proved later when Abu Salem accused Memon of being close to Dawood and Shakeel.
