St Lucia, June 13 (UNI) Although disappointed after loss of the day's play due to intermittent showers, India are still hopeful of a result on the final day of the fourth Test here tomorrow.

India need to take nine wickets to seal victory as the West Indies were 43 for one follow on after conceding a mammoth 373 runs lead in the first innings.

But not a single ball was bowled today due to inclement weather and with monsoon arriving in this part of the world, rains may play spoilsport again.

''It's disappointing but this is not the end of the world. We need every one in India to pray that there is no more rain. Things like this we have no control. I don't want to be pessimist at this stage,'' India coach Greg Chappell said.

''Let's hope we have no rains to Indian team disappointed but hopeful of result morrow and there is hundred overs of play possible. Hopefully we should be able to take the remaining nine wickets,'' he added.

''It would have been much more pleasurable to go up there and play, but this was not to be today. We got rest that we were not expecting, hopefully, this rest will give them enough energy to take the nine wickets left,'' Chappell added.

Chappell said he was happy that three Indian batsmen scored century, but even more satisfacory was team's bowling.

''The bowling was good too. To be able to bowl them out for 200 was great because the wicket was not very different on the third day what it was on first and second day. The boys learnt the lessons from the first test and bowled more often in the danger areas,'' said Chappell.

He also singled out Virender Sehwag for exceptional bowling in the two Tests.

''We always knew Sehwag had talents as bowler. Maybe he didn't get enough opportunity before. I am working with him more at nets on his bowling, we will use him more often,'' the coach said.
