Puravankara signs MoU with CMC
Bangalore, June 14 (UNI) Puravankara Projects Limited, one of the leading developers in South India, today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the City Municipal Council (CMC), Yelahanka, to develop the double road connecting Doddaballapura road to Yelahanka road via Attur.
Under the MoU, Puravankara would develop and maintain a stretch of 1.125 km of road at an estimated cost of Rs 25 lakh, a company release here said.
The company would also contribute Rs 50 lakh towards the development of the existing carriageway of Airport Road from HAL to Kundalahalli, which was being undertaken by the Bangalore Development Authority (BDA).
''The Public-Private Participation (PPP) scheme launched by the Government of Karnataka-Urban Development Department (UDD) to improve the city's infrastructure, is a commendable initiative and we are of the opinion that such initiatives must be supported, thereby ensuring their success,'' the release said, quoting Puravankara Projects Chairman Ravi Puravankara.
